Africans in Diaspora and Cultural Identity problems


When Africans move outside the shores of this continent they get embattled in a war of cultural identity. How do they dress? How do they talk? Do they adopt the new culture they are being introduced to or do they stick to the way of life they have known all their lives?

The truth is that there is no perfect answer to these questions as people are faced with unique and dynamic situations. What can be done however, is to find a perfect blend between both worlds; not forgetting where you are coming from as well as adjusting to your new environments.
