Correcting the Superficiality of African Education System

It has been widely proven that the education system left by the colonialists in Africa is not the type that can really advance the cause of Africa considering the fact that it was instituted in such the way that suits the Europeans.
Majority of African countries are still battling with medieval problems like food scarcity, malnutrition and dearth of technological innovations because the education systems focuses more on training people for white collar jobs than technological empowerment.
I think it is high time we throw away this faulty Educational system and device another one that will suit the interests of African countries.

Where would you suggest that we start?

I’d say at the university level because that’s where most people determine their trajectories(?) Some people may say at a young age so that children can grow up curious.

Thanks for bringing this up. I’m happy to have a discussion on this.
