The South Sudan Internal Crisis; when will African leaders be selfless?

The war going on in the young nation called South Sudan is basically a clash of egos between the former vice president and the president over power.
While they have been trying to brainwash their followers that they are fighting for their respective tribes, it is very reasonable to conclude otherwise in the face of the agony their people are going through while they enjoy the spoils of the war.
Suffice to say that they rose to power on the back of the people’s support; these two leaders are not fighting for their people with the look of things.
What can we do to stop the spilling of blood in South Sudan?
