The term "United States of Africa was reportedly first used by Marcus Garvey, an American freedom fighter in his poem "All hail united states of Africa" However, the push for the reality of the federation was largely championed by late Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi. The concept is a proposal for a federation where the whole of Africa operates as a country with the same currency, Identification and freedom to move anywhere. With the death of Gaddafi, many people thought the concept is dead too but recently the president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe has expressed interest in it. The question now is, would you support a United states of Africa if put to referendum? what are your reasons?
